July 15-19, 2013: SLAM Summer Camps

Two camps are being offered July 15-19, 2013: "Making Your Own Comic Book" with Gene Turchin and "Splatter Paint and Life-Size Sculptures" with Sandy Cress. A tough choice, which one will you choose?

"Making Your Own Comic Book" with  Gene Turchin

Enjoy a week of paint splattering and using tools to make human scale wood sculptures. This session will be filled with highly active art making, lively discussions and exploration of modern art making. This class is only for the brave who are yearning for adventure and creative expression!

"Splatter Paint and Life-Size Sculptures" with Sandy Cress

Explore area wildlife for inspiration in the designing and creation of mosaics. We will apply our art to encase the lampposts at East Marion Park.
